57% of survivors in
Alabama are children.
9 beds is not enough.

There are hundreds of child survivors in Alabama every year. Of those, an estimated 57% are children, the overwhelming majority of whom will not self identify. If these children are rescued, they may be placed into non-therapeutic care unequipped to respond to their trauma.

Our therapeutic Restoration Home will be a place of healing for 9 child survivors, equipped to compassionately respond to their unique trauma. In light of the larger number, this may seem like a small number.

But it is a start.
