Blanket Fort Hope (BFH) is committed to providing safe and therapeutic living environments for females ages (12-19) who have experienced human sex trafficking or at risk of being trafficked due to past sexual trauma. Our team of clinical staff, who have received specialized training in understanding and serving victims of sexual trafficking, focuses treatment on the whole child: mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Blanket Fort Hope primarily focuses on teenage girls who experienced the trauma of sexual abuse, through commercial trafficking, familial trafficking or by experiencing other types of sexual trauma. With a Child Placing License, BFH will recruit, train, and license therapeutic foster families who can work with the teen during the initial crisis and treatment phase of placement. BFH will also recruit, train and license regular foster parents for a step-down in placement for the teen when they are ready.
The role of executive director for the Child Placing Agency (CPA) will serve as the direct supervisor of the Child Placing Agency staff as they recruit new homes and provide needed clinical and case management services to the teens placed in the home.
The ideal candidate is a leader who can successfully develop and manage a diverse team of social worker professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop policies and procedures for the establishment of the CPA, develop program manuals for staff and residents that address vision, mission and value of Blanket Fort Hope as well as the day-to-day functioning of foster family homes.
- Support the recruitment efforts of the program and participate in foster family recruitment events.
- Provide clinical supervision to the clinical staff, who are providing clinical services to teens and foster parents.
- Develop ongoing staff development training.
- Report directly to the CEO of Blanket Fort Hope
- Responsible for the Medicaid Billing of clients for clinical and daily services provided.
- Liaison with the state Department of Human Resources for licensure, contract and any other type of required communication
- Other responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:Licensed Master level social worker
- 3-5 years of experience working in TFC, Residential or Group Home setting
- Strong leadership, people management, and team building skills.
- Experience in Medicaid billing
- TIPS trained preferred but not required.
- Experience in training and curriculum development
