General Statement of Responsibility:

We are seeking a passionate and organized Education Liaison to join our mission-driven team. The Education Liaison plays a critical role in supporting the academic and personal development of each resident by ensuring they receive appropriate, individualized educational services that align with their healing journey, academic level, and personal goals. This role bridges communication between the young women in our care, local schools, tutors, and program staff to foster an environment of growth and restoration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and advocate for educational services tailored to each resident’s needs.
  • Partner with schools, tutors, and alternative education providers to ensure access to learning opportunities.
  • Monitor academic progress and support residents in setting and achieving personal and educational goals.
  • Maintain accurate educational records and coordinate assessments or testing as needed.
  • Serve as a mentor and encourager to residents, rooted in trauma-informed and faith-based principles.
  • Work collaboratively with BFH program staff to integrate academic support into each girl’s healing plan.
