Expanding Our Impact
Recent Training and Certification
In September alone, we had the privilege of training and certifying four professional groups, enhancing their ability to effectively identify and support vulnerable children. Our comprehensive Human Trafficking training also provided participants with three state-approved Continuing Education Units (CEUs). We were honored to collaborate with the following organizations:
- Alabaster City Schools: Training school counselors to recognize the signs of human trafficking and support at-risk children effectively.
- Columbiana Police Department: Equipping law enforcement officers with the tools to identify and respond appropriately to potential trafficking situations.
- Alabama School Counselor Conference: Expanding our reach to numerous school counselors statewide, empowering them to make a difference in their schools and communities.
- Metropolitan Criminal Justice Executive Association: Engaging leaders within the criminal justice system to foster better collaboration and understanding of child trafficking issues.
Why This Matters
By extending our training to these key professionals, we are building a network of advocates equipped to recognize and respond to children in need. This collaborative approach creates multiple layers of support for vulnerable individuals, ensuring that children receive the care they need.
Looking Ahead
We are incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made and remain dedicated to continuing these efforts. The positive feedback from participants confirms that our training is making a meaningful impact, and we’re excited to expand our reach even further.
