Restoration Home

At Blanket Fort Hope, we are responding to the urgent need of shelter and therapy for child survivors of human trafficking in Alabama.

Restoration Home is scheduled to open in 2025.

Restoration Home is a pathway to hope for female child trafficking survivors that will focus on restoration, healing and hope. Once these child survivors find hope, they’ll realize they can have a life apart from their trafficker. One that is safe. One that has a future.

Restoration Home is designed to move female human trafficking survivors from “fight-or-flight” to “living in hope.”

Safety and Privacy

The Restoration Home will serve up to 9 female human trafficking survivors at a time, ages 13-18 years old. Each girl will get a private bedroom and private bathroom where they can breathe and safely rest. For many, this will be the first place they have ever slept and felt safe.

Education Partnership

Just down the road is a private school who we've partnered with to provide the education these girls need to be successful young adults. Education is just another way these girls will find hope in their future without trafficking.

Asset 32
Restoration Campus

We will be able to care for more survivors on site as we build the Restoration Campus that will add 7 cottages with trained, caring foster families in each cottage. Scattered throughout the property we are building several prayer forts, bench swings, stables and greenhouse with a garden. All of these pieces are meant to provide hope and healing to these child trafficking survivors.

ADA Compliant

During the planning of the Restoration Home, we included 2 bedrooms that are ADA compliant allowing us to help girls who are handicapped or wheelchair bound either permanently or temporarily. We know that some trafficked children are abused due to their handicaps and knew to plan for that type of need in the Restoration Home.
