Training: Identify Human Trafficking

Do you know what child human trafficking looks like?

Blanket Fort Hope has decades of experience helping children escape the horrors of child trafficking situations. The grim reality is human trafficking isn't just happening in third world countries. It's happening to our friends and neighbors. It's hiding in our communities right next door.

Our "Identify Human Trafficking" training provides a better understanding of what child trafficking looks like, who the perpetrators are, who the victims are and how you can help. We offer Professional Training and Community Training classes to be sure we can provide courses tailored for many different groups.

Professional Training

Our Professional Training is designed to facilitate compassion in the hearts of medical/healthcare professionals, first responders, educators, foster care families, law enforcement, legal professionals, transportation professionals, and social workers. As a result, we will be able to encourage survivors to self-identify. All of this will lead to fewer runaways and more accurate rates of identification.

Our professional training course offers 3 Continuing Education Units (CEU) for Social Workers. Our number is #0639.

Community Training

Blanket Fort Hope's Community Training Seminar is geared towards educating church groups and HOA communities.

We can help your community better understand what child trafficking looks like, who the victims are, who the perpetrators are, and what we as individuals of our community can do about it.

Foster Parent Training

Blanket Fort Hope offers a comprehensive foster parent training program designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to support children who have been victims of human trafficking. Their training emphasizes trauma-informed care, ensuring that foster parents can provide a safe and nurturing environment tailored to the unique needs of these children. By focusing on specialized education and support, Blanket Fort Hope aims to empower foster parents to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable youth.
